Upon rescuing Myers from what seemed to be an entire platoon of Barghest soldiers, V and the president are then forced to defend their position from yet another swarm of deadly would-be kidnappers. But the show's far from over, for an even bigger threat looms in the old bunkers that the duo must navigate in their escape.

Below you'll find an overview of the Main Quest, Spider and the Fly, which includes a point-by-point Walkthrough, along with additional information that may influence your progress.

Walkthrough

  • Follow the objective markers with Myers
  • Speak with Myers
  • Quickly duck behind cover to avoid the drone
  • Continue walking with Myers
  • There's an optional door that requires 9 Body to open in this room — it gets you to the objective faster
  • If you can't open the door, go out to the scaffolding and follow the markers
  • A drone surveys the old restaurant from outside — sneak and use cover if you want to avoid fighting it
  • The next area has a number of guards; you can fight them alongside Myers or sneak out of the building
  • Take the Barghest car, or steal something nearby (you can't call your own vehicle here)
  • Barghest now act like police in Dogtown, and you'll need to avoid their vehicle patrols if you don't want to fight
  • If you do fight, know that you can leave your vehicle and run towards the destination if required
  • However, you will need to be out of combat to enter the gate; if you can't shake the guards, try driving around for a bit while avoiding enemy vehicles and then circle back
  • It may also be easier to exit your vehicle and sneak to the gate if the guards won't leave the nearby roads
  • Speak with Myers
  • Survive the ambush — but be warned that it can get pretty intense as more enemies arrive
  • Run from the Chimera, follow Myers
  • Survive against the Chimera
  • You can't hurt this mech, but you'll need to stay behind cover to avoid taking damage until the elevator arrives
  • During the cinematic sequence, select the dialogue options to survive

Boss Fight

  • Scrapping the Chimera can be quite difficult — be prepared for a fairly long fight
  • There are ammo boxes all around the arena
  • The Chimera does not move from its central position
  • Its gatling gun destroys the concrete pillars so it's best to keep moving
  • When it launches missiles, make sure you're sprinting away from the ground markers
  • Watch out for the red laser, as this is the boss' most damaging attack
  • To avoid the laser, either get behind cover or, if you're feeling lucky, jump over it
  • Shoot the Chimera's weak spots to deal damage — aim for the joints in its legs and the various vents on its body
  • Towards the end of the fight, the Chimera will deploy toxic gas that engulfs the lower floor, so make sure you're above it
  • Quest complete
