@KAIRU Yeah, once you get a certain length into your own game then it's normally your own stupidity that lets you down. My best one I had a main base with a pen for the buffalo to harvest the poop from, solid walls and then loads of traps set up to protect me from the demon dogs. And then little outposts set up around the map for when I ventured further afield.

Another tip is putting the traps for the rabbits just above the holes. It seems to have a much better success rate of catching them than just scattering them about.

@Thrillho Yeah, the traps above the rabbit holes is usually my go-to strategy for catching them.

I’ve never really gotten far enough into the game where I’ve actually gotten a proper base set up. Usually I’m too busy trying not to, well, starve. 😅

@KAIRU My “not starving” strategy;

• Loads of traps to catch rabbits. Put live rabbits into crates at your base. Normally at least two that are full.
• Collect as much poop as you can to build farms and fertilise berry bushes you’ve picked up.
• Have two crockpots built so you can have food cooking while you go out exploring for the day. Try looking at some online calculators for what combos produce what. Fish sticks are great for health! (And can use twigs to make)
• Save as much of the above as you can for winter. Building a thermometer can help you predict when that’s coming.

I m normally survive off berries and carrots for the first few days until I have a base set up with the above all to try and get through that first winter, while also getting some armour and weapons together for that first “invasion”.

Started Alan Wake Remastered, so far I am enjoying it

I've made quite a lot of progress in Persona 4 Golden and am now at the Void Quest dungeon to go get Mitsuo Kubo.

Having only played the PS2 release I didn't actually know about the Scooter assists so when Yosuke suddenly spoke up after a critical hit to do a follow up attack (and he wasn't in my party) I thought the game had glitched... At least until he suddenly rammed right into a shadow on his scooter.

Golden really cranks up P4's goofiness huh?

@HallowMoonshadow Glad you’re enjoying P4G, it’s a gem. It’s one of those games that I look back on fondly, but don’t plan to play again because there’s parts of it that do drag on. As is the case for the series anyways. 😄
