Insomniac Games has released a new patch for its smash hit superhero sequel, Marvel's Spider-Man 2. The game has been out for just under a week, and in that time a handful of bugs and errors have been raised. This 551 MB patch amends a few of those, most notably the issue surrounding an incorrect flag present in Miles Morales' home.

On the developer's website, it's made a brief statement regarding the flag error. "Today's patch corrects an error where the Cuban flag was incorrectly displayed instead of the Puerto Rican flag," it reads. "We understand that accurate representation matters, and greatly regret this error. We sincerely apologize and will do better in the future."

In addition to restoring the right flag, the patch improves stability, fixes a problem with models not loading properly, and sorts out the Amazing 2 Suit — its spider logo was apparently too bright.

Here are the official patch notes for update 1.001.003:

  • Addressed an issue where an incorrect flag was displayed
  • Addressed an issue where models would not load properly after long play sessions
  • Addressed an issue where The Amazing 2 Suit's Spider logo appeared too bright
  • Improved stability
